Washington Akihabara is in proximity to almost everything, we have decided to rest 2 days before our departure from japan and we still found ourselves doing a lot of things. It’s a walking distance from akihabara station and the jr station, probably a 5 minute walk. Also like a 5 minute walk from: GU, Uniqlo, Starbucks, Mcdonalds, Familymart, 7/11, Lawson, Yodobashi Mall, Electric Town, Drugstore and just about a lot of food options. We haven’t even explored the other side and yet there’s so much to do just around. And a few mins walk, maybe 15-20, there is also a Don Quijote, maid cafes everywhere, and etc. Hotel has amazing facilities, like hair blower inside the room, microwave oven and laundry on the reception floor, laundry can get crowded and the other guests is annoying for leaving their laundries way past the finish time but this is not the hotels fault, the laundry only has 3 washer and 3 dryers, but it’s open 24 hours and inside the hotel, so we sometimes do our laundries on our pjs. There is also ice dispenser and water dispenser on the reception area whenever you need a refill. Refreshment vendo machines are also available per every floor, and there is a restaurant floor on the building as well. Room also has everything you need, so you may choose not to bring anything, like toiletries ( including razor and hair brush, which you can get on the reception ), shampoo and conditioner, as well as towels and they even provide a night wear! We stayed winter and didn’t really need to open heater as well as air conditioning. There is a humidifier inside the room as well, we made use of it every night so it’s not drying for our throats overnight. We are positive we will be staying here again, and amazing staff!

The location was absolutely great! My partner and I spent alot of time in Akihabara, so it was great to have a close hotel to quickly put down our goods, and go out again to buy more things! Bathtub was also bigger than our previous stays, and it could fit the 2 of us. Hotel service staff was also very friendly and accommodating! They were always there ready to help us when needed (e.g. when we enquired about the laundry washing machine, when we needed a taxi to get to our airport). The room was great too, we could open our luggages fully and still had a little space to walk. We had a window looking out into the river canal, and the sunlight was great. All in all, a great time! We spent 7 nights there.

The location can't be beat. If you leave Akihabara station through the south Central Gate and it's right there! The room was small, but great for the price. There was plenty of room for me traveling alone and my suitcases. Staff was extremely friendly. They knew minimal English but were willing to work closely with me to figure out what I needed. They helped me ship my luggage through Yamato Transport and it all showed up safely at the airport. I will be staying here again when I go back to Tokyo.

Convenient location can be the best description you can describe Washington Hotel for the following reasons: -Its directly beside Akihabara station Yamanote Line and Hibiya line, -It has a Starbucks accross the street, -There is a Family Mart nearby -Yodobashi Akiba is just a corner away, -past Yoddobashi are several fast food chains and a 7/11. The as for the room, ours was spacious enough to accomodate us and our luggage. Also, the view from our room

We’ve stayed here before and love the location. Perfectly situated in the very heart of Akihabara and a 30-second walk to the Akihabara Station. The room is small, but great in comparison to most in Tokyo and the bath is full-sized as well as a full-length bathroom mirror. Good size for a couple, but if you’re larger-framed the bed will be a bit too small for two people.
